Sushanta Chowdhury Leads BJP’s ADC Push in Jirania ahead of TTAADC Polls
Apr 02, 2026Stepping up the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) campaign ahead of the TTAADC elections, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism, Sushanta Chowdhury on Thursday attended a major election rally and joining programme at Puratan Mandai Bazaar under the 15-Jirania constituency.
The programme was held in support of BJP candidate Abhijit Debbarma, where Chowdhury welcomed several families and supporters from other political parties into the BJP fold. Highlighting the growing support from tribal communities across the state, the minister expressed confidence that the BJP is on track to form the government in the TTAADC .
The event was also attended by BJP State President and MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, National Vice-President Lata Usendi, District President Gauranga Bhowmik, along with other senior leaders and party workers.
Reaffirming the party’s resolve, Chowdhury stated that with united efforts and public support, the BJP will overcome all challenges and ensure victory in the ADC, asserting that the “lotus will bloom” this time.
