Minister Sushanta Chowdhury Reviews Fuel Supply Situation in Tripura
Mar 25, 2026Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism, Sushanta Chowdhury on Wednesday chaired a crucial review meeting to assess the current status of petrol, diesel, and LPG cylinder supply and distribution across the state.
The meeting, along with an awareness programme, was organised at Pragya Bhavan by the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department. Senior officials from various levels and key stakeholders were present during the session.
Addressing the gathering, the minister highlighted concerns arising from the ongoing situation in the Middle East and its potential impact on fuel supply. He stressed the need to ensure that the availability and distribution of essential fuels remain normal and uninterrupted in the state.
Chowdhury urged all concerned authorities and stakeholders to work in coordination and extend full cooperation to prevent any disruption or inconvenience to consumers. He also provided necessary instructions and guidance to maintain a smooth supply chain and avoid panic among the public.
The review meeting aimed at strengthening preparedness and ensuring that citizens continue to receive essential fuel supplies without difficulty.
