CM Manik Saha Leads World Oral Health Day Celebrations in Agartala

Chief Minister Manik Saha on Saturday took part in the World Oral Health Day 2026 celebrations, joining a state-level training programme for dental healthcare professionals at Prajna Bhavan, Agartala.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister highlighted the significance of oral health and underscored the government’s commitment to improving dental healthcare services across the state. The programme aimed to strengthen the skills of Medical Officers (Dental), dental surgeons, nursing officers, and community health officers, ensuring better healthcare delivery for the people of Tripura.
Organized by the National Oral Health Programme under the National Health Mission, Tripura, in association with the Indian Dental Association, Agartala Government Dental College, and IGM Hospital, the initiative brought together healthcare professionals to raise awareness and promote best practices in oral health.
The Chief Minister’s presence at the programme reinforced the state government’s focus on preventive healthcare and professional capacity-building in the dental sector.
