Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrated Across Tripura with Religious Fervour
Mar 21, 2026Muslims across Tripura celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with great enthusiasm and devotion on Saturday, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In the capital city Agartala, thousands of worshippers gathered at the Gedu Mia Mosque to offer special Eid prayers following the sighting of the crescent moon.
The Imam of the mosque led the congregation in prayers, including a special prayer for global peace. Devotees also prayed for the welfare and prosperity of the state and the country.
Chief Minister Manik Saha extended his heartfelt greetings on the occasion through social media. In his message, he conveyed his best wishes to the Muslim community and expressed hope that the festival would further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, harmony, and humanity. He also prayed for happiness, peace, and good health for all.
