Governor Inaugurates NEP 2020 National Seminar
Mar 17, 2026Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu on Tuesday inaugurated a two-day national seminar on “NEP 2020: Policy into Practice to Create a Knowledge Economy” at MBB Shatabarshiki Bhawan, Tripura Central University in Agartala.
Highlighting the significance of the National Education Policy 2020, the Governor stressed the need for its effective implementation to transform India’s education system into a driver of innovation and economic growth. He noted that bridging the gap between policy and practice is essential to build a knowledge-based economy.
The seminar has brought together academicians, educationists, and policymakers from across the country to discuss key challenges and opportunities in executing NEP 2020. Over the two days, participants will deliberate on practical approaches to enhance quality education, research, and skill development in line with the policy’s vision.
