West Tripura DM Reviews Fuel Supply Situation
Mar 16, 2026The District Magistrate and Collector of West Tripura, Dr. Vishal Kumar on Monday held a review meeting with all Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) and Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants (POL) product dealers of the district to assess the availability and distribution of fuel.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the present supply position and the distribution mechanism of petroleum products across the district. POL dealers informed the administration that adequate stock of petrol, diesel and other petroleum products is currently available in West Tripura.
The District Magistrate assured that there is no shortage of POL products and urged the public not to panic or spread rumours regarding fuel availability.
He also directed dealers to ensure smooth and fair distribution of petroleum products and strictly avoid bulk supply or hoarding so that normal supply to the public remains uninterrupted.
The district administration is closely monitoring the situation to ensure continuous availability of fuel across West Tripura district.
