CM Manik Saha Welcomes 587 Voters to BJP
Mar 14, 2026Chief Minister Manik Saha on Saturday welcomed 587 voters from various political parties into the Bharatiya Janata Party during a joining programme organised by the party at Dhumachhara.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister warmly greeted the new members and said that their decision to join the BJP reflects the growing confidence of the people in the party’s leadership and the developmental initiatives undertaken by the government in the state. He stated that the support and participation of people from different political backgrounds will further strengthen the party’s organisational structure at the grassroots level.
Dr Saha also highlighted that the present government is committed to ensuring inclusive development, transparency, and welfare for all sections of society. He expressed optimism that the newly joined members would actively contribute to the party’s vision of development and work for the progress of their respective areas.
The programme was attended by party leaders, workers, and supporters, who welcomed the new entrants with enthusiasm. With the addition of 587 voters, the BJP leadership expressed confidence that the party’s base in the region would become stronger in the coming days.
