Minister Tinku Roy Launches Welfare and Awareness Initiatives
Mar 12, 2026Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education, and Labour, Tinku Roy on Thursday attended a meaningful public welfare programme in Rishyamukh and inaugurated the distribution of benefits under several government schemes.
During the programme, the minister provided financial assistance to beneficiaries and distributed musical instruments, sports equipment, Syntex water tanks and other supportive materials under various welfare initiatives of the government.
On the occasion, Roy also inaugurated a district-level awareness workshop under the National Livestock Mission (NLM). Alongside this, awareness programmes at the block level related to the “Viksit Bharat Ji Ram Ji” initiative and the campaign against child marriage were also launched.
Addressing the gathering, the minister said that such initiatives play an important role in promoting the development of people from different sections of society, strengthening self-reliance and spreading social awareness.
