BJP only path to development in ADC areas: CM Dr Manik Saha
Mar 06, 2026
Chief Minister Manik Saha on Thursday said that the days of remaining in power in the Autonomous District Council (ADC) by misleading people with communal narratives and false propaganda are coming to an end.
Addressing a large party gathering at Atharobola in Gomati district, organised by the Bagma Mandal of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Chief Minister urged people to support the party in the upcoming elections to usher in a new phase of development in the ADC areas.
Saha stated that indigenous communities are now realising that development is not possible without the BJP. He alleged that attempts had been made in the past to mislead tribal communities through divisive politics and misinformation.
The Chief Minister also said that the welfare of indigenous people had not been given due attention earlier, and that it was only under the BJP-led government and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that significant initiatives were taken for their development and welfare.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to the upliftment of tribal communities, Saha said several measures have already been implemented for their benefit and similar efforts will continue in the future.
Calling for the beginning of a new chapter of development in the ADC region, the Chief Minister appealed to people to ensure victory for the BJP in all seats in the upcoming elections.
