US Strikes Iranian Military Sites; Six American Troops Killed
Mar 03, 2026The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed that U.S. forces carried out sustained strikes on Iranian military targets, destroying key facilities linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
In a statement posted on social media, CENTCOM said the operations targeted and eliminated IRGC command and control centers, air defense systems, missile and drone launch sites, and several military airfields. The command stated that the United States will continue to take decisive action against what it described as imminent threats posed by the regime in Iran.
Meanwhile, six U.S. service members have been confirmed killed in action. In a separate update, CENTCOM said that American forces recovered the remains of two previously unaccounted-for personnel from a facility struck during Iran’s initial attacks in the region.
