Tripura Advancing Steadily Towards ‘Viksit Bharat’: CM Manik Saha
Feb 26, 2026Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday asserted that Tripura is moving forward with a clear and well-structured roadmap to achieve the vision of a “Viksit Tripura” as part of the larger mission of building a “Viksit Bharat.”
Addressing the inaugural session of a three-day special exhibition and fair at Children’s Park in Agartala, the Chief Minister said that the state’s consistent development efforts have begun to reflect in national assessments. He pointed out that NITI Aayog has recognized Tripura as one of the country’s front-runner states, which he described as a significant achievement for the people of the state.
Dr. Saha emphasized that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tripura has aligned its policies and development strategies with the national vision of a developed India. He said the government is focusing on inclusive growth, innovation, and sustainable development to ensure holistic progress across sectors.
Reaffirming the state government’s commitment, the Chief Minister stated that Tripura is determined to contribute meaningfully to the realization of the dream of Viksit Bharat.
The programme was attended by MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, and other dignitaries.
