Governor inaugurates Udyam Samagam in Santirbazar
Feb 26, 2026Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu on Thursday inaugurated the District-Level Udyam Samagam at Mukut Auditorium in Santirbazar, South Tripura. The programme was organised by the Tripura Industries Development Corporation Limited (TIDC) to promote entrepreneurship and strengthen industrial growth at the district level.
Speaking at the event, the Governor emphasized the vital role of small and medium enterprises in driving economic development and generating employment opportunities. He encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to take advantage of various government schemes and financial assistance initiatives aimed at boosting local industries.
Senior officials of TIDC, representatives from different government departments, business leaders, and budding entrepreneurs attended the programme. The Udyam Samagam focused on creating awareness about industrial policies, investment opportunities, and support systems available for startups and MSMEs in the state.
The initiative is part of the state’s continued efforts to foster a robust industrial ecosystem and accelerate inclusive economic growth across Tripura.
