PM Modi Begins Two-Day State Visit to Israel


Narendra Modi on Wednesday embarked on a two-day State visit to Israel, aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations. This marks his second visit to the country.

During the visit, Prime Minister Modi will hold wide-ranging talks with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, to review the significant progress achieved in the India–Israel Strategic Partnership. The leaders are expected to explore new avenues of cooperation in key sectors including science and technology, innovation, defence and security, agriculture, water management, trade and economy, as well as people-to-people exchanges.

The two sides will also exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.

In his departure statement, Prime Minister Modi expressed confidence that the visit would further consolidate the enduring bonds between India and Israel. He said the trip would set new goals for the strategic partnership and advance a shared vision for a resilient, innovative and prosperous future for both countries. He noted that the bilateral relationship has witnessed remarkable growth and dynamism in recent years.

Meanwhile, Israeli President Isaac Herzog said that Israel and its people are looking forward to welcoming Prime Minister Modi, underscoring the warmth and depth of ties between the two countries.
