Pranajit Singha Roy Chairs High-Level Review on Budget 2025–26 Implementation
Feb 18, 2026Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy on Wednesday chaired a high-level review meeting at his office in the State Secretariat to assess the implementation of key announcements made in the Budget Speech for the financial year 2025–26.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from various departments, where detailed discussions were held on the progress, execution framework, and inter-departmental coordination required to effectively roll out the budget proposals.
Highlighting the importance of timely implementation, the Finance Minister stated on his official social media handle, “An important meeting was held in my office at the Secretariat in the presence of various departmental officers to discuss the implementation of different announcements made in the Budget Speech for the financial year 2025–26.”
The initiative reflects the minister’s proactive approach to ensuring that budget commitments are translated into tangible outcomes for the state’s growth and development.
