India Storm into Semifinals with Dominant Win over Nepal
Feb 18, 2026India secured a comprehensive seven-wicket victory over Nepal in their Group A encounter at the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament on Tuesday, booking their place in the semifinals.
With this win, India recorded their second victory in three matches to finish at the top of the Group A standings with four points, following two wins and one loss.
Tanuja Kanwar was adjudged Player of the Match for her outstanding bowling display, which helped bundle out Nepal for just 78 runs in 18 overs after they elected to bat first.
Chasing a modest target of 79, India made light work of the total. Opener Vrinda Dinesh led the charge with an unbeaten 39, guiding the team home in just 7.5 overs to complete a dominant performance.
