Modi, Macron Meeting to Boost India–France Strategic Ties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed confidence that his discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron will further strengthen bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors and contribute to global progress.
President Macron is on a three-day official visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi. The two leaders are scheduled to meet in Mumbai on Tuesday, where they are expected to review and advance the India–France strategic partnership.
Responding to a social media post by President Macron, Prime Minister Modi said India is delighted to welcome the French leader and looks forward to giving new momentum to the strong and longstanding partnership between the two countries.
President Macron is also set to participate in the AI Impact Summit during his visit, underscoring the growing cooperation between India and France in the fields of technology, innovation, defence, climate action and other key sectors.
