CM Manik Saha Inaugurates TWJA Bi-Annual State Conference
Feb 14, 2026Chief Minister Manik Saha on Saturday inaugurated the Bi-Annual State Conference of the Tripura Working Journalists’ Association at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister lauded the dedication and commitment of journalists in keeping the public informed and upholding democratic values. He said that the media plays a crucial role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and the smooth functioning of democracy.
Dr. Saha expressed gratitude to members of the journalists’ association for their continuous efforts in highlighting public issues and strengthening the democratic fabric of the state.
Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education, and Labour Tinku Roy and other dignitaries were also present at the programme.
