Engineers Vital to Tripura’s Growth: CM Manik Saha
Feb 14, 2026Chief Minister Manik Saha on Saturday underscored the pivotal role of engineers in the overall development of Tripura, stating that they are key partners in driving the state’s progress.
The Chief Minister made the remarks while attending a voluntary blood donation camp organised to mark the sixth biennial conference of the Association of Service Engineers of Tripura (ASSET) at Sukanta Academy in the capital city.
Addressing the delegates and participants, Dr Saha said that engineers not only discharge their professional responsibilities with dedication but also actively engage in social initiatives that benefit society at large. He lauded ASSET for organising the blood donation camp alongside its conference and expressed sincere appreciation to all voluntary blood donors for their noble contribution.
Highlighting the importance of technical expertise in governance and infrastructure development, the Chief Minister said that the state’s growth trajectory depends significantly on the commitment and integrity of its engineering community.
Member of Parliament Rajib Bhattacharjee and other dignitaries were also present at the programme.
