Sudhangshu Das Reviews Welfare Schemes in South Tripura
Feb 13, 2026Minister for SC Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development (ARDD), Sudhangshu Das, on Friday chaired a district-level review meeting at the Circuit House in Belonia, under South Tripura district, to assess the progress of various government schemes.
Senior officials from the Fisheries, SC Welfare and ARDD departments were present at the meeting, where detailed discussions were held on the implementation status of key welfare and livelihood programmes in the district.
Emphasising the importance of coordinated efforts, Das directed officials to ensure greater accountability and efficiency in executing government initiatives. He stressed that schemes must reach beneficiaries at the grassroots level without delay and called for strict monitoring to remove bottlenecks in implementation.
The Minister reiterated the state government’s commitment to inclusive development and instructed departments to work in close coordination to accelerate the delivery of services and benefits to the people of South Tripura.
