CM Manik Saha Unveils ADB Strategy for Industrial Development in Tripura
Feb 12, 2026Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Thursday unveiled a strategic publication titled “Strategic Approach to Industrial Development in Tripura”, prepared by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), at the conference hall of the Tripura Institution for Transformation (TIFT).
The document presents a comprehensive roadmap aimed at transforming industrial estates across the state by addressing existing challenges and leveraging emerging opportunities. It outlines measures to strengthen infrastructure, enhance competitiveness, and create an enabling environment for sustainable industrial growth.
The strategy is expected to help Tripura integrate its industries into regional and global value chains, thereby accelerating economic development and generating employment opportunities.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister expressed sincere appreciation to the Asian Development Bank, led by Country Director Ms Mio Oka, and all stakeholders involved in drafting the framework. He stated that the strategic roadmap would play a vital role in boosting investment and fostering long-term industrial progress in the state.
