Minister Shukla Charan Noatia Lays Foundation Stone for ₹9 Crore School Building

Minister Shukla Charan Noatia on Thursday laid the foundation stone for a new two-storey building at Paschim Pilak Higher Secondary School in Jolaibari constituency.
The ceremony was attended by local leaders, including Jolaibari Block BAC Chairman Ashok, Panchayat Samiti Chairman Tapas Dutta, South District Committee Member Shambhu Mallick, and Panchayat Samiti Vice Chairman Keshab Chowdhury, along with school management members, teachers, students, and guardians.
Speaking at the event, Minister Noatia emphasized the government’s commitment to providing equal access to quality education across both hill and plain areas. He noted that the state aims to eliminate disparities in educational infrastructure and ensure modern facilities even in remote rural regions.
The new building, estimated to cost ₹9 crore, will include modern classrooms, improved teaching facilities, and essential amenities, enhancing the overall learning environment for students. Minister Noatia also acknowledged that many schools had previously faced shortages in infrastructure and assured that the government is working to address these gaps.
Highlighting broader development in Jolaibari, the Minister said significant progress has been made in education, roads, and healthcare, and promised that the government’s focus on development will continue in the coming days.
