MP Rajib Bhattacharjee Inaugurates RO Drinking Water Project
Feb 08, 2026Member of Parliament Rajib Bhattacharjee on Sunday formally inaugurated a Reverse Osmosis (RO) drinking water purification project at Math Chowmuhani Market under the Banamalipur Assembly constituency. The project has been implemented under the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MP-LADS).
The newly inaugurated RO plant aims to provide safe and clean drinking water to traders, customers, and local residents visiting the busy market area. Addressing the gathering, the MP said that access to purified drinking water is essential for public health and that such development-oriented initiatives are being prioritised to meet basic civic needs.
Local representatives and residents present at the programme welcomed the initiative and expressed satisfaction over the completion of the project, stating that it would greatly benefit the public and help reduce water-borne health issues in the area.
