Minister Sushanta Chowdhury Reviews Brahmakunda Eco-Tourism Park Project

Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Saturday reviewed the progress of a modern eco-tourism park and entertainment centre being developed at Brahmakunda under the Mohanpur subdivision, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to strengthening the tourism sector.
The Tourism Department has undertaken several initiatives to showcase the state’s rich natural and cultural potential on the global tourism map. As part of these efforts, a number of projects have already been completed and several tourist destinations have been opened to the public, significantly enhancing tourism infrastructure across the state.
During his visit to the Brahmakunda project site, the minister was accompanied by the Secretary and Director of the Tourism Department, along with other senior officials. He inspected the ongoing construction work and reviewed the overall progress of the project.
Emphasising the importance of quality and timely execution, Chowdhury instructed the concerned officials and executing agencies to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe while strictly maintaining quality standards. He said the eco-tourism park, once completed, is expected to emerge as a major attraction, promote sustainable tourism, create employment opportunities, and contribute to the overall economic development of the state.
