CM Manik Saha Participates in Memorial Blood Donation Camp
Feb 02, 2026Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday attended the 11th voluntary blood donation camp organized by M.L. Plaza on the 28th death anniversary of his late father, Makhan Lal Saha.
Addressing the donors, Dr. Saha expressed his heartfelt gratitude and praised their selfless service, calling voluntary blood donation “one of the greatest humanitarian acts” that helps save lives and supports the healthcare system during emergencies.
He also commended the organizers and volunteers for successfully conducting the camp for the 11th consecutive year and stressed that such initiatives raise public awareness, particularly among the youth, about the importance of regular blood donation.
Urging citizens to participate in similar social welfare programs, Dr. Saha emphasized that collective efforts can strengthen the culture of service in society.
The event was attended by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumder, Mayor-in-Council Ratna Dutta, and other dignitaries.
