Priyadarshan to Helm Bhoot Police 2 as Sequel Sees Major Cast Shake-Up

Industry sources report that the filmmaker has been signed on for a fee of ₹21 crore, reflecting strong confidence in his creative approach.
The sequel will see a significant cast overhaul, with original stars Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor reportedly not returning. The makers are reportedly exploring a new pairing of a senior and junior actor to bring a different dynamic to the horror-comedy narrative.
The original Bhoot Police, directed by Pavan Kirpalani, was known for blending laughs with spooky thrills and starred Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Yami Gautam. While the sequel will retain the franchise’s signature horror-comedy tone, it is expected to introduce a fresh cast and possibly new storytelling elements under Priyadarshan’s direction.
