PM Modi Calls for Deeper India–Arab Cooperation at Foreign Ministers’ Meet in New Delhi


Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met a delegation of Foreign Ministers from Arab countries, along with the Secretary General of the League of Arab States and heads of Arab delegations, during the second India–Arab Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held in the national capital.

During the interaction, the Prime Minister highlighted the deep-rooted and historic people-to-people ties between India and the Arab world, noting that these longstanding connections have continued to strengthen bilateral relations over the years.

Outlining his vision for the future of India–Arab relations, Mr Modi reaffirmed India’s commitment to further enhancing cooperation in key areas such as trade and investment, energy, technology, healthcare and other priority sectors, with a focus on mutual growth and shared prosperity.

The Prime Minister also reiterated India’s continued support for the people of Palestine and welcomed ongoing peace initiatives, including the Gaza peace plan. He expressed appreciation for the constructive role played by the Arab League in advancing efforts towards regional peace and stability.

The meeting underscored the growing engagement between India and Arab nations and reflected a shared commitment to deepening strategic and economic partnerships.
