Minister Sudhangshu Das Reviews Welfare and Development Schemes

Minister for SC Welfare, Fisheries, and Animal Resources Development Department (ARDD), Sudhangshu Das, on Friday chaired a district-level review meeting at the Conference Hall of the Khowai District Magistrate’s Office to assess the progress of various government schemes.
Officials from the Fisheries, SC Welfare, and Animal Resources Development departments participated in the meeting and presented updates on the implementation status of ongoing projects and beneficiary-oriented programmes. The Minister reviewed key performance indicators and sought detailed reports on field-level execution.
Addressing the officials, Sudhangshu Das emphasized the need for sincerity, responsibility, and coordinated teamwork to ensure the effective implementation of welfare and development schemes. He stressed that government initiatives must translate into tangible outcomes on the ground, particularly for Scheduled Caste communities, farmers, fishermen, and livestock rearers.
The Minister also directed departments to strengthen monitoring mechanisms, improve inter-departmental coordination, and ensure timely delivery of services to beneficiaries. He reaffirmed the State Government’s commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable development through targeted interventions in the welfare, fisheries, and animal husbandry sectors.
