Shantiniketan Medical College to Host ‘SMC MedExpo-2.0’ in Tripura
Jan 10, 2026Shantiniketan Medical College (SMC), Tripura, is all set to organize its flagship event, ‘SMC MedExpo-2.0’, from January 23 to 24, showcasing the latest advancements in medical technology and education.
The two-day event will feature a grand Medical Equipment Exhibition, with participation from nearly 100 leading medical equipment and healthcare technology companies from across India. Attendees can expect to see cutting-edge medical devices, advanced treatment technologies, and innovations in healthcare services.
In addition to the exhibition, the event will host academic sessions with the participation of around 100 eminent doctors and professors from across the country. The experts will discuss the current scenario of medical science, emerging healthcare challenges, and future possibilities in medical education.
Speaking at a press conference at the Agartala Press Club, Malay Pith, President of Shantiniketan Medical College, said the expo aims to increase awareness of modern medical technologies among students, healthcare professionals, and the general public. He added that the event would reinforce Shantiniketan’s role as a growing hub for medical education and healthcare innovation in Tripura.
