CM Manik Saha Lays Foundation Stone for New Building at Bapuji Vidyamandir

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday performed the Bhumi Pujan and laid the foundation stone for a new building at the historic Bapuji Vidyamandir, addressing faculty, students, and guests at the ceremony.

Established in 1953 in the Bardowali Bhattapukur area, Bapuji Vidyamandir has been a pillar of education in the region for nearly seven decades. The school was set up on land generously donated by the late Nabin Chandra Chakraborty and has since played a key role in providing quality education to generations of students.

During the event, CM Saha emphasized the importance of strengthening educational infrastructure and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to the holistic development of schools across Tripura. He said the new building would provide modern facilities and a conducive learning environment, enabling students to achieve academic excellence.

The ceremony was attended by school authorities, local dignitaries, teachers, students, and members of the community, who appreciated the government’s efforts to upgrade educational institutions in the state.
