The fourth season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) gets underway today as Royal Challengers Bengaluru face defending champions Mumbai Indians in the opening match at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. The match will start at 7:30 PM.
A grand opening ceremony will be held ahead of the match, featuring performances by several celebrities, including Yo Yo Honey Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Harnaaz Sandhu.
The WPL 2026 will be played across two venues — the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai and the BCA Stadium in Vadodara. After the Navi Mumbai leg concludes, the tournament will move to Vadodara, which will host the remaining 11 matches, including the playoffs.
