CM Manik Saha Participates in Mega Blood Donation Camp in Agartala
Jan 03, 2026Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha attended a Mega Blood Donation Camp in Ward No. 39 of the Agartala Municipal Corporation on Saturday, marking the beginning of the English New Year with a strong message of humanity and social service.
The camp, organised under the slogan “Blood Donation: The Greatest Offering to Humanity,” saw enthusiastic participation from voluntary donors in the area. During his visit, Dr. Saha interacted with donors and praised their selfless contribution, describing blood donation as a noble act that saves lives and strengthens society.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister appreciated the initiative taken by the Agartala Municipal Corporation and Ward No. 39, stating that such programmes reflect the true spirit of community service and public responsibility. He also urged citizens, especially the youth, to actively participate in blood donation drives to ensure an adequate supply of blood for patients in need.
The event was attended by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, Ward No. 39 Corporator Alok Roy, and other dignitaries.
