South Korea Extends Visa Fee Waiver for Group Tourists
Dec 31, 2025
South Korea will extend the waiver on visa processing fees for group tourists from India, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Cambodia for an additional six months. Finance Minister Koo Yun-cheol announced that the exemption for C-3-2 short-term group tourist visas will remain in effect until the end of June next year.
The decision is aimed at maintaining the momentum in inbound tourism. Currently, the processing fee for a C-3-2 visa is 18,000 won.
The country’s tourism sector is showing strong signs of recovery, with the number of foreign visitors in November rising 17.3 percent compared to the same period last year, approaching pre-pandemic levels.
