PM Modi Chairs 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries in New Delhi
Dec 27, 2025Prime Minister Narendra Modi is chairing the fifth National Conference of Chief Secretaries in New Delhi, a three-day event aimed at strengthening Centre–State cooperation through structured dialogue on national development priorities. Guided by the vision of cooperative federalism, the conference focuses on the theme “Human Capital for Viksit Bharat”, with discussions on early childhood education, schooling, skilling, higher education, and sports. Special sessions are being held on governance reforms, technology in administration, AgriStack, tourism development, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and strategies for a post–Left Wing Extremism future. Chief Secretaries, senior officials from States and Union Territories, and domain experts are participating in the conference.
