PM Modi Interacts with Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Awardees on Veer Bal Diwas
Dec 26, 2025Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the national programme marking Veer Bal Diwas at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, where he interacted with 20 Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardees. Addressing the gathering, Mr Modi paid tribute to the Sahibzades, remembering their exemplary courage and supreme sacrifice. He said that over the past four years, Veer Bal Diwas has inspired the younger generation by highlighting the sacrifices of the Sahibzades.
Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi urged children to adopt the principle of “Nation First” in their lives. She described children as key change-makers in building a developed India and said that with proper guidance and opportunities, they can turn the impossible into reality. She added that the vision of Viksit Bharat is taking shape under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
The occasion also commemorated the bravery of Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, whose sacrifice remains a glorious chapter in Indian history.
