Minister Sudhangshu Das Reviews Welfare Schemes in Unakoti
Dec 16, 2025Minister for the Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Animal Resources Development Department (ARDD) and Fisheries, Sudhangshu Das, on Tuesday chaired a district-level review meeting at the Circuit House Conference Hall in Unakoti.
The meeting was attended by officials from the Scheduled Castes Welfare (SCW), Fisheries and ARDD departments. The minister reviewed the implementation and progress of various welfare and development schemes under the departments.
Emphasising the need for effective governance, the minister stressed inter-departmental coordination, transparency and efficient service delivery to ensure that welfare schemes reach the intended beneficiaries in a timely and effective manner. He directed officials to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and improve coordination for better outcomes.
