New Rail Link to Boost Industrial Growth in Tripura
Dec 16, 2025Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving a new railway track connecting Jirania with the Bodhjungnagar Industrial Estate.
Sharing the update on his social media handle, the Chief Minister said the project would play a crucial role in improving connectivity and logistics in the region. He noted that the new rail line would significantly support industrial activities at Bodhjungnagar by ensuring smoother movement of goods and raw materials.
Dr. Saha described the project as a major infrastructure boost that would accelerate industrial growth and contribute to the overall economic development of Tripura.
