India Defeat South Africa by 101 Runs in Opening T20I
Dec 10, 2025India clinched a commanding 101-run victory over South Africa in the first match of the five-game T20 series at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha, on Tuesday night.
Batting first, India posted a competitive total of 175 runs in 20 overs, powered by a blistering 59 off 28 balls from Hardik Pandya.
In response, South Africa struggled to build momentum and were dismissed for just 74 runs, as Indian bowlers delivered a disciplined and clinical performance.
Hardik Pandya was named Player of the Match for his outstanding all-round contribution.
