Dec 09, 2025
Sikkim is set to host a high-altitude supercar rally this month under the Defence Ministry’s Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan initiative, aimed at promoting battlefield and border tourism. Beginning December 12, the event will feature 17 supercars tackling some of the state’s toughest Himalayan routes.
Flagged off from Sukna in West Bengal, the rally will cover the Siliguri–Gangtok–Cho La–Nathu La–Zuluk circuit before concluding on December 15. Supported by the Indian Army’s Trishakti Corps and the Government of Sikkim, the rally also seeks to highlight the state as a prime destination for adventure and driving enthusiasts.
Authorities have announced traffic restrictions on NH-10 for heavy vehicles during the rally period to ensure smooth passage for participants and maintain safety along the route.
