Seven-Day NSS Special Camp Begins at Ramnagar HS English Medium School
Dec 04, 2025A seven-day special camp organised by the National Service Scheme (NSS) began on Thursday at Ramnagar Higher Secondary English Medium School with the aim of promoting the nation’s vision of a “Developed India.” The inaugural ceremony was marked by the presence of Agartala Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumdar, who attended as the chief guest, along with several dignitaries, teachers, and community members.
In his address, Mayor Majumdar stressed the importance of youth participation in community development and praised the NSS for encouraging students to take part in constructive social initiatives. He highlighted that such programmes help shape responsible and service-oriented citizens who can contribute meaningfully to the country’s progress.
Throughout the week-long camp, NSS volunteers will participate in various activities.
