Mayor Lays Foundation for Ward 17 Office, Inaugurates Open-Air Gym at Mukta Pukur
Dec 03, 2025In a brief ceremony on Wednesday, Mayor Dipak Majumdar laid the foundation stone for the new Ward No. 17 office building under the Central Zone, located near Mukta Pukur. At the same event, he inaugurated a newly established open-air gym, adding a fresh recreational facility for local residents.
The Ward 17 office building is set to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 50 lakh, while the open gym has already been completed with a budget of Rs 15 lakh.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Mayor Monika Das Dutta, Corporator Shikha Banerjee, Snigdha Das Deb, Nibas Das, Ramnagar Mandal President Amitava Bhattacharya, along with several other dignitaries.
