Ajay Devgn to Sign MoU with Telangana Govt for Film City
Dec 02, 2025Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government during the Telangana Rising Global Summit, scheduled to be held on December 8 and 9 at Bharat Future City. The agreement marks a major step toward establishing a state-of-the-art film studio and integrated film city in Hyderabad.
The actor, who is well-known to Telugu audiences for his role in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, had earlier proposed the project and held discussions with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. Following a positive response from the government, Devgn has moved ahead with his plans to develop the facility over the next couple of years.
According to reports, the Telangana government is likely to extend support in the form of land allocation and special incentives. The proposed studio will feature cutting-edge infrastructure, including advanced animation, VFX, and AI-powered production facilities. A dedicated skill-development institute is also planned as part of the project, aimed at fostering local talent in the film and media sectors.
