Earthquake Shakes Parts of Bangladesh
Dec 02, 2025A mild earthquake was felt across several parts of Bangladesh, including Chattogram, early today. According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), the 4.9-magnitude tremor was recorded at 12:55 am.
The epicentre was located in Mingin, Myanmar, about 431 kilometres southeast of Dhaka. No casualties or damage were reported following the quake.
