CM Dr. Manik Saha Participates in ‘Sardar@150 Unity March’ in Gujarat

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday participated in the national-level ‘Sardar@150 Unity March’ at Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, as part of the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The march, covering the route from Karamsad to Kevadia, was virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of Union and state ministers, along with other distinguished guests. The foot march showcased inspiring episodes from Sardar Patel’s life, his ideals, and his steadfast commitment to national unity, symbolising the spirit of oneness and self-reliance across the country.
Earlier, Dr. Saha, along with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, visited Sardar Patel’s ancestral house in Karamsad and paid floral tributes on his 150th birth anniversary. Dr. Saha said that Patel’s exceptional contribution to national integration continues to inspire every Indian.
The ‘Sardar@150 Unity March’ is part of a series of nationwide events organised to commemorate Sardar Patel’s enduring legacy as a nation-builder and champion of unity.
