IMD Forecasts Dense Fog in Northeast
Nov 25, 2025The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dense fog conditions over several parts of the Northeast on Tuesday. According to the forecast, isolated pockets of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, as well as northwestern Uttar Pradesh, are likely to experience reduced visibility during early morning hours.
The IMD also stated that minimum temperatures are expected to fall by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius across parts of northwest India over the next two days. The drop in temperature is attributed to prevailing weather conditions influencing the region.
