CM Manik Saha Flags Off ‘Sardar@150 Unity March’ in Agartala
Nov 24, 2025Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday flagged off the Sardar@150 Unity March from Circuit House, Agartala, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of India’s first Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The march was organised to honour Patel’s unmatched contribution to national integration and his enduring legacy as the “Iron Man of India.” Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister highlighted Patel’s pivotal role in unifying the country and emphasized the continued relevance of his vision for a strong and united India.
Minister Tinku Roy, along with several senior officials, public representatives and participants, was also present during the flag-off ceremony.
The Unity March witnessed enthusiastic participation and aimed to spread awareness about Patel’s nation-building efforts, reaffirming the values of unity and integrity across the state.
