International Gold Prices Ease 0.5% to $4,063 per Ounce on Global Trade Signals

International gold prices declined by 0.5% this week, settling at $4,063 per ounce, as easing global trade tensions, diminishing expectations of a December rate cut by the U.S. Federal Reserve, and a stronger dollar index weighed on the precious metal.

In the Indian market, gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) for the December contract closed at ₹1,24,191 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver futures for December delivery ended the session at ₹1,54,151 per kilogram.
