CM Inaugurates 45 Tube Wells and 27 Iron Removal Plants in Agartala under AMRUT 2.0
Nov 18, 2025Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday inaugurated 45 deep tube wells and 27 iron removal plants under the AMRUT 2.0 project at the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan premises, a major step towards improving urban water infrastructure in Agartala.
The project has connected 16,224 households to safe drinking water through a 206-kilometer pipeline network, ensuring a more reliable and efficient water supply for the city.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mayor Dipak Majumder, Deputy Mayor Monika Das Dutta, Mayor-in-Council Ratna Dutta, and other officials. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to providing safe drinking water and enhancing urban amenities.
