Bollywood Icon Dharmendra Hospitalised, Esha Deol Appeals for Privacy and Prayers
Nov 11, 2025Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, one of Hindi cinema’s most celebrated stars, has been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after experiencing breathlessness.
His daughter, Esha Deol, addressed circulating rumours of his death, urging fans and the media to rely on verified information. In an Instagram post, she wrote: "The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery."
Reports indicate that Dharmendra is currently under observation, and his condition is stable. His wife, actress Hema Malini, visited him in the hospital, expressing hope for a swift recovery. Several family members and industry colleagues have also visited to offer their support.
