MP Biplab Kumar Deb Visits Makaibari Tea Estate in Kurseong
Nov 08, 2025Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb on Saturday visited the historic Makaibari Tea Estate located near 7 Ghumti in Kurseong, where he interacted with BJP karyakartas (party workers) and tea garden labourers to understand their concerns and discuss ongoing development initiatives in the region.
During the visit, Mr. Deb emphasized the central government’s commitment to improving the welfare of tea garden workers and strengthening the tea industry, which forms the backbone of the local economy in the Darjeeling hills.
He was accompanied by Raju Bista, Member of Parliament from Darjeeling, who lauded the contributions of tea workers and reaffirmed the BJP’s dedication to the holistic development of the hill areas.
