Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Wednesday felicitated the state’s outstanding visual artists at his official residence in Agartala. The felicitation ceremony was organized to honor the winners of a painting competition held as part of the nationwide initiative “Viksit Bharat Ke Rang, Kala Ke Sang.”
The event was jointly organized by the Lalit Kala Akademi (Agartala, NERC), the Department of Information & Cultural Affairs, and the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC). The painting competition took place at Nazrul Kalakshetra on September 25 and 27, 2025, showcasing the creativity and talent of Tripura’s artists.
During the ceremony, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha presented the winners with certificates and cheques containing cash awards. He extended his best wishes to all the artists for their continued success and contribution to the state’s cultural heritage.
The event was also attended by Apurba Roy, In-Charge Secretary of the Department of Information & Cultural Affairs, and Director Bimbisar Bhattacharjee, along with several noted artists and cultural personalities.
